제너럴아이디어 커넥트 현대 청주점은 ‘쇼핑과 체험을 연결하는 로컬 리테일 플랫폼’이라는 커넥트의 철학을 반영하여 디자인되었습니다.
전면에 넓게 펼쳐진 글라스 파사드는 외부의 풍경과 자연광을 공간 내부로 자연스럽게 끌어들이며, 청주의 도시적 맥락과 브랜드 아이덴티티를 부드럽게 연결합니다. 내부는 밝고 따뜻한 우드 톤과 절제된 화이트 루버 디테일을 중심으로 구성되어, 브랜드가 지닌 모던하고 클래식한 감성을 동시에 표현합니다.
중앙에 배치된 패브릭 소파와 라운지형 가구는 체류형 공간으로서의 여유를 강조하며, 방문자들이 편안하게 머무르고 브랜드를 경험할 수 있도록 유도합니다. 이번 프로젝트를 통해 제너럴아이디어는 단순한 판매 공간을 넘어, 고객과 브랜드가 자연스럽게 연결되는 감도 높은 리테일 공간을 제안합니다.
The General Idea Connect Hyundai Cheongju store was designed to embody the CONNECT philosophy—a local retail platform that links shopping and experience.
The wide glass façade draws in natural light and the surrounding urban landscape, softly connecting the brand identity with the context of Cheongju city. Inside, warm wood tones and restrained white louvers express both the modern and classic sensibilities of the brand.
Centrally placed fabric sofas and lounge-style furniture create a relaxed, stay-oriented atmosphere, inviting visitors to spend time and engage with the brand at ease.
Through this project, General Idea proposes a refined retail space that goes beyond a point of sale—offering a place where the brand and customers connect naturally.
